Biodiesel Power Plant SPE - Luminus to Harelbeke
En-Bio was responsible for the design of the DeNOx, writing the specifications, organizing and evaluating the final contract with the contractor, preparing the necessary building plans and following up the construction.
The project is part of the commitment of the sector to reduce NOx. This involved that the existing plant was equipped with catalytic De-NOx to achieve a reduction of 90% of NOx.
In line with the existing draft a De-NOx was placed per engine with a bypass. The plant serves both as a tertiary reserve but also as black start capability.
